Without books, we would repeat the same mistakes again and again. There would be no progress. Inconvenient concepts have driven us to dizzying intellectual heights.
Unconventional ideas are more important as they often tend to nudge us from our convenient equilibrium. New ideas are the lifeblood of the world.
Books are civilization’s best friend. It is, however, impossible to read everything, and thus, we have to choose wisely from the ever-growing number of books and publications.
